Subject # of minutes Math: 20-30 We are finishing up our unit on Polygons and now is the time to apply what you’ve been learning these past few weeks in a fun and artistic way! Today, you will start on the “Polygon STEAM Challenge” activity in SeeSaw. Be creative! Use chalk, paint, food, things from nature, or whatever medium you choose! You will have until Friday to complete this assignment. Reading 30-40 Log into Readworks- The passge is called “Wild Weather” Use the websites tab on my blog if you need helping logging in. Please read the passage carefully and answer the questions carefully! Be sure to look back in the text for your answers. The reading response choice board can be found on Seesaw. *Remember every day you should be reading at least 20 minutes along with assignment in reading. Remember you should use your Storyworks to answer the questions. Writing 45 Last week, you planned the story elements and plot your Fairy Tale Adaptation. This week, I want you to begin drafting your fairy tale. You will have Tuesday-next Monday to work on this. Try and write at least one page per day. Draft your story like we would in class, you want to have a beginning, middle and end. So each page in your writing should have 5-6 sentences. *Use the Narrative Writing Rubric on Seesaw to look at what you will be graded on. Just look at the third grade side.
